Ethereal Canyon and Lions Head & Pass

Ethereal Canyon - more of a short bush-walk through the ferns - easy to get into, easy navigation, a vaguely pleasant wander, easy 4WD track out - but not much else - worth doing once.
The ferns are pleasant, pleasant enough creek, the 4m falls is where the canyon starts - we descended on the Eastern side & backtracked 50m to see the falls at 471 009 - only knee deep in a couple of places. Then an easy walk downstream through some pretty average canyon and around the corner to the 4WD track at 475 008. We followed it N to the Hole In Wall car park and back to the car on the edge of the down flattened pine forest.
Some pleasant creeky sections, and a blockup with chockstone.
Lions Head & Lions Pass was slightly more exhilarating. After parking at the twin cairns we walked S for 70m before heading W up the short steep hill.
And followed the obvious track W then S for 4km. After about 3km the Lions Head was obvious
In the 2nd or 3rd gully the large cairn marking the top of Lions Pass was clear on the Western side.
The log book showed parties most weekends.
We continued on to Lions Head
It was mostly flattish, occasionally with good views to the West over Kedumba Valley towards Solitary and Narrowneck, but towards the Head there were steeper sections
A brief lunch at the Head with speccy views to the West - Solitary - Miner Pass and return is on the bucket list.
